The QM International Arts Center is a diverse fine arts studio for students of all ages and skill levels. We strive to inspire and educate our students to reach their highest artistic potential. Located in Queens, New York, our program offers a variety of high-quality art education in fine arts classes, including drawing, painting, ceramics, polymer clay, and much more.
Our goal is to foster growth and nurture our students' talents so that they can become young creators who paint their dreams and sculpt their futures with joy and confidence. The QM International Arts Center is for students looking to begin their art journey and advance their skill set.
The QM International Arts Center intertwines with the heartbeat of our community through direct involvement, including art exhibitions at the Flushing Library and the Manhattan Mandarin School where we donated personalized work for all members at the Bayside Senior Living Center and the Korean American Presbyterian Church of Queens.
Fine Arts
Our fine arts programs are tailor-made to fit students' ages and skill levels. We currently offer three types of fine arts classes.
Ceramic
Children's ceramic class is an opportunity for kids to get closer to nature and enhance their sense of achievement.
Portfolio Preparation Program
The Portfolio Preparation Program is for middle school students interested in attending specialized art high schools in New York City.

Art Program
We stick with targeted, success-driven curriculum
Our art program offers classes for young elementary and middle school students who are taught in small groups to foster a unique learning experience and better introduce art skills with each project. Our projects vary in media, scale, and size, including graphite drawing, acrylic, watercolor, oil, charcoal, colored pencil, air dry clay, polymer clay, and mixed media. Students are also given the opportunity to join us for class trips where we learn to draw or paint on-site, teaching students how to create from real life and not only photograph. All of our art projects are uniquely crafted to promote the development of students' critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills to expand their knowledge and prepare them for real-world experiences.
Portfolio Prep
We provide tailored classes and updated practice exams.
Our portfolio preparation class is for middle school students looking to enter an arts high school program. We offer small, personalized lessons to target our students' weaknesses better and highlight their strengths for their portfolios. Our students are supported through every step of their portfolio-building process, including art making and selection, to ensure they receive admittance into their dream high school. Our students have been admitted into the top New York City Art high schools, including Fiorello H LaGuardia High School of Music and Performing Arts, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, and the Art and Design High School.
Ceramics
Program Overview: Year-Round Learning
The Ceramic program offers classes for adults and children at all skill levels. Classes include an introduction to hand building and wheel throwing, as well as classes with experienced students in hand building and wheel throwing. Our supportive, creative environments allow our students to thrive in new and continuing ceramic pursuits and encourage students to challenge themselves with each project. Through ceramic classes, our students have received cultural impact and greater appreciation for their daily lives and experiences, as well as learning to calm their minds when working with a medium like clay.
Space Rental
Experienced licensed teachers assigned by subject and grade level.
We also offer events in and out of the studio including kids birthday parties, adult private parties, bachelorette parties, corporate events, and baby showers. We offer a variety of party options including acrylic painting on canvas, polymer clay sculpting, hand building ceramic clay, wheel throwing ceramic clay, and pottery painting. We also offer one of our art instructors to commute to your event and instruct paint parties at your location.
